Where to from here?

The People’s Club for Humans International

embrace the collective

As you may have noticed, this portfolio is housed within the site of PCH or The People’s Club for Humans, my shared creative projects & art collective.

Here myself and my creative collaborators work to bring our ideas to life in whatever form they might take.

Currently, my personal and shared projects workflow takes the form of 3 key projects, two of which you can check out on this site, and one that remains forthcoming:

KnifeGun and Frankenstein’s Booty are both being developed in collaboration with other PCH members.

N-ARC Cabinet

The N-Arc Arcade Cabinet is a bespoke, mid-century modern styled piece of high end gamer furniture.

Designed and built from the ground up by yours truly using only the finest products and materials available. The cabinet features a “cartridge” slot, where the player docks their Nintendo Switch game console to awaken the unit. One or two players can use the embedded arcade controls, inbuilt HD monitor, bassy onboard sound & Bluetooth stereo capability. Be it a loungeroom statement piece, or the piece de resistance of the man-cave, the N-Arc is the choice of the refined gamer.

With the fully dressed prototype completed and on display since early 2022, the design is being refined towards production of the master unit. From this master, all current orders will be fulfilled.

KnifeGun VR

The Meta Quest VR game KnifeGun is currently in production, leveraging fast paced 1v1 combat and interaction, we expect to be entertaining Quest & quest 2 owners and ourselves with movement from a demo to a fully fledged version 1.0 by end of 2022.

For this project I developed the core concept and lead initial proof of concept development prior to bringing more helping hands onboard. Now I oversee the delivery, art, overall gameplay iteration and design, as well as branding for the product.

Once version 1.0 is achieved, we will pursue final iteration and listing on the Meta Quest app store.

Frankenstein’s Booty

My third and final project is Frankenstein’s Booty, a board game where 4 players break into a a gothic mansion. Full of wonderous treasures, and terrible dangers, players must loot the house, outwit eachother, and outrun the monster!

My early initial concept has been exhaustively workshopped and play tested with the wider PCH team to bring the game to where it is now, a fully fledged board game ready for community testing to further balance and iterate on the rules. In the meantime I am currently overseeing art & design development to really sell the look, feel and tone of Frankenstein’s Booty.

The game balances the familiarity of a family board game with competitive deck building elements and an rules driven monster “AI” to elevate gameplay.

Longterm

Creative product development & design has increasingly shown itself to be my passion.
As my career and personal pursuits grow and continue, I see those skills grow and develop within myself and my day to day. But I have a keen love of the written word and how it takes shape within my Conversational AI work.

Longterm I intend to grow these in concert, and with an eye to how they share the potential to meld and grow together within the VR/AR development space, I will endeavor to find and operate on the forefront of the Conversational AI VR products space, be that gaming, training or the metaverse.
